Attempted escape to the civil prison of Hinche, 2 agents of the National Police of Haiti were taken hostage

Calm has returned to Hinche Civil Prison.
During an attempted escape from Hinche civil prison, two Haitian National Police officers were taken hostage on Wednesday, December 18. Three (03) 9 millimeter caliber firearms were seized, one (01) knife and two (02) saw blades were confiscated.
Very quickly, the specialized units; deployed in the Center Department (Hinche) had regained control of the situation and proceeded to release the hostages.
Prisoners Roger Mardochée, Alexis Stevenson, Mertilien John Wesley, Ullice Emmanuel are identified by the PNH as the main perpetrators of this escape attempt.
The operation continues with searches and interrogations in the cells of the detainees in order to obtain other information
